Brian Hayes: Director of Business Enterprises
Houston, TX– Space Center Houston has selected Brian Hayes as Director of Business Enterprises.
In this role, he will be responsible for the strategy, development and execution of marketing sponsorships and partnerships and group sales.
Most recently, he was Executive Director of the Montgomery County Fair Association (MCFA), which promotes and produces the annual Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo. During his tenure, the MCFA gave back more than $6 million to the youth of Montgomery County, TX.
Previously, Hayes was a Manager and Corporate Sponsorship Account Executive at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the largest organization of its kind in the world. In this position, he managed roughly half of the organization’s corporate sponsorship portfolio which helped to fund annual production of the globally recognized event.
Space Center Houston (SCH) is a science and space exploration learning destination with extensive education programs. SCH’s 250,000 square-foot educational complex welcomes 1.3 visitors annually, including more than 250,000 teachers and students through field trips and facilitated educational programs.
Visitors from around the world enjoy opportunities to view more than 400 space artifacts and changing exhibits related to America’s achievement in space, as well as go behind the scenes on tours of JSC laboratories and research facilities, including the historic Apollo Mission Control Room; the Vehicle Mockup Facility, housing a full-scale replica of the International Space Station, astronaut training areas and a robotics laboratory; and Rocket Park, where a Saturn V rocket is on exhibit.
