Dave Davia: President and Chief Executive Officer
Denver, CO – Nonprofit, business and civic leader Dave Davia has been chosen as President and CEO of Colorado Concern. Davia is well known in both the business and labor sectors for driving meaningful change for the business community through the political process. He brings a wealth of public policy expertise and a long history of bipartisan coalition building to this role and will be a key asset in supporting Colorado Concern’s mission to enhance and protect Colorado’s business climate.
Most recently, Davia has been EVP and CEO of the Rocky Mountain Mechanical Contractors Association. In this position, he designed strategies and programs to advance the field, built coalitions with partners, and enhanced Colorado’s economy through the career development of over 9,000 individuals and 200 member organizations in the mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC/R construction and service trades.
Earlier in his career, Davia worked in banking operations and information technology for Wells Fargo, serving in a variety of roles including Chief of Staff – Wholesale Operations & Services and Program Manager, Treasury Management Operations.
He is a former elected official with the City of Westminster where he served as City Councilor and has been a Board member of the Westminster Economic Development Authority, the Redevelopment Authority, the Human Services Board and the Transportation Commission.
