Edith Lee: President & CEO
Bridgeport, CT — Health and human services leader Edith Lee, LCSW, has been selected as President & CEO of LifeBridge Community Services, an agency that provides behavioral health services, youth development and asset-building resources for families in Bridgeport.
With a strong belief in service delivery that transforms lives, Lee has dedicated her career to positively impacting underserved and marginalized communities. In addition to her leadership experience in the health and human services sector, she brings to LifeBridge Community Services her expertise as a mental health service provider through her work as a licensed clinical social worker.
Most recently, as Vice President of the U.S. Program at Americares, a global nonprofit saving lives and improving health for people affected by poverty or disaster, Lee drove the strategic direction of the organization’s health programming in the U.S. She was responsible for supporting close to 1,000 safety net clinics and health centers by designing, implementing and directing innovative community-based programs that expand access to care for millions of low-income and uninsured or under-insured patients, including programs to prevent diabetes, support mental well-being, expand health equity and improve the quality of patient care. Previously, Lee served as Chief Support Officer at Hidalgo Medical Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center in southwest New Mexico.
