Linda Maranda: Chief Executive Officer
Aurora, IL – Behavioral health leader Linda Miranda has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Mutual Ground, which serves individuals and families impacted by domestic and sexual violence and substance use disorders.
Miranda brings extensive experience in substance use disorder and mental health services to this role. Most recently, she was Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Haymarket Center, the largest and most comprehensive provider of treatment for substance use and mental health disorders in Chicago. In this position, she was responsible for planning and launching programs that build Haymarket Center’s capacity to care for patients with substance use disorder, mental health and medical conditions, and who are disproportionately affected by social determinants of health, including homelessness.
Previously, Maranda served as Executive Director of The Women’s Treatment Center and prior to that as Executive Director of Caritas. She has also served as Director of Provider Relations for Interventions, where she built internal systems and relationships with Managed Care Organizations for their clients to access treatment at Interventions’ various treatment programs.
For more than 45 years, thousands of individuals have trusted Mutual Ground to provide life-changing services that have empowered them to face the challenges of domestic and/or sexual violence. Last year, Mutual Ground provided emergency shelter to 206 adults and children, counseling and advocacy services to 1,279 adults and children, 1,291 hours of substance use recovery services, and filed 258 Orders of Protection with the help of its legal advocates.
