MaryLynn Mack: Executive Director
Memphis, TN– MaryLynn Mack has joined Memphis Botanic Garden as Executive Director. Mack, who has been in the public garden field for over 20 years, most recently was the Chief Operating Officer at South Coast Botanic Garden in CA. She has also served as a presidentially appointed Board member of the Institute of Museum and Library Services and is the Past President and a current Board member of the American Public Gardens Association.
Prior to the South Coast Botanic Garden, Mack served in numerous roles at the Desert Botanical Garden in AZ including as Deputy Director/Director of Operations. She has also served as Director of Volunteer/Intern Services at the San Diego Natural History Museum.
As Executive Director of Memphis Botanic Garden, Mack will have the opportunity to lead the Garden through the last phase of its 2022-2025 strategic plan and build on the Garden’s recent momentum toward modernization and horticultural excellence.
Memphis Botanic Garden is a 96-acre garden located in the heart of Memphis whose purpose is to enhance lives by connecting people with plants and by increasing awareness and appreciation of the environment.
