Nelle Miller: President & Chief Executive Officer
Sarasota, FL – Philanthropic leader Nelle Miller has been named President & Chief Executive Officer of All Faiths Food Bank (AFFB), the only food bank and the largest hunger relief organization in Sarasota and DeSoto counties. Miller returns to All Faiths Food Bank after having served on the AFFB Board from 2016-2021 including as Chair from 2018-2020 when she assisted in the development of a succession plan for AFFB.
Miller has a deep background in the nonprofit world of Sarasota and Desoto Counties. For over 20 years, she has served the Sarasota community as the Board Chair of many leading philanthropic organizations and human services agencies. Miller is currently serving as the Interim CEO of Unidos Now. Last year, she acted as Interim President and CEO of JFCS of the Suncoast. She is currently Board Chair of the Education Foundation of Sarasota County and is an Advisory Board member for the Boxser Diversity Initiative. Additionally, she has been Board Chair of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Glasser Schoenbaum Human Services Center, and the Sarasota-Manatee Jewish Federation, among others.
Founded in 1989, All Faiths Food Bank (AFFB) has been a Certified Member of the Feeding America network since 1990. Rated 4-stars by Charity Navigator, they provide millions of meals each year through robust programs and partnerships with hundreds of charitable organizations throughout the community.
