Woburn, MA – Dr. Rebecca Gosselin has been selected as Executive Director of the Teaching and Learning Alliance (TLA), an organization that has been serving the educational needs of children and their teachers for over 30 years.

Gosselin brings significant leadership experience in organizational strategy and program design, a passion for issues of identity in relation to teaching and learning, and an ongoing commitment to implementing system-level innovations that increase equitable access and opportunities for children and educators nationwide.

Prior to her appointment to lead TLA, Gosselin served as Managing Director, Growth, for the national nonprofit EL Education, overseeing business development and partnership strategy and leading the organization to record growth during her tenure. Previously, she launched and led multi-year partnerships with various school districts across the country as EL’s Director, Partnerships.

Teaching and Learning Alliance, Inc. (TLA) is an organization of K-12 educators who provide in-school coaching and leadership training at primary and secondary schools throughout New England and the US. Formerly known as CACD and part of the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Development at Tufts University, TLA has a 23-year history pursuing its mission of ensuring that all children, irrespective of background, receive the educational preparation necessary to become successful, thoughtful and engaged citizens.
