The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago (EFGC) has named Alison Ruble as Chief Executive Officer. In this role, she will lead EFGC into a new era of heightened support for individuals living with epilepsy, health equity initiatives and expanded public awareness campaigns.

Ruble brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and a deep commitment to improving care and access for individuals living with epilepsy and their families. Most recently, Ruble served as Regional President-Midwest Region of the USO, where she spearheaded multimillion-dollar campaigns and led cross-functional development teams in multiple states.

As CEO of EFGC, she will oversee the Foundation’s comprehensive range of programs that support individuals and families affected by epilepsy, advocate for policy changes supporting health equity for all, and continue to connect the community through educational initiatives. She will also work closely with a broad network of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, donors, and advocates, to strengthen partnerships and broaden the organization’s impact.

The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago (EFGC) is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. It offers education, advocacy, and case management to people living with epilepsy, their families, and the communities in which they live.
