Katherine Dixon, a former British diplomat and Energy Transition Chief Counsellor at the International Energy Agency, has been selected as CEO of the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP)®. She brings deep global knowledge and expertise in the transition to a clean, reliable, and efficient energy future, which will strengthen the Regulatory Assistance Project’s leadership in energy regulation and policy.

Dixon, who has more than 20 years of experience spanning the public, private and nonprofit sectors, most recently was head of Bain Consulting’s Global Energy Transition Policy Centre. Previously, in her role at the International Energy Agency, the leading intergovernmental organization on energy, she ran agency programs advising major energy consuming governments, including China, India, Brazil and Indonesia, on strategies for transitioning energy supply and demand. She has also served as VP of Strategy at Shell Oil where she led a taskforce of customer-facing businesses to develop Shell’s energy transition strategy.

Dixon, who is originally from the United Kingdom, currently resides in Paris, France.
