Megan Loomer

Megan Loomer has been appointed Vice President of Finance and CFO for Friends of Acadia, an organization that preserves, protects, and promotes stewardship of Acadia National Park and surrounding communities.
Most recently, Loomer has served in financial leadership roles at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk in CT. Previously, she spent two decades at various marketing companies and startups building a broad financial, administrative, and operational background.
Prior to The Maritime Aquarium, Loomer led Financial Planning and Analysis at Flashtalking, an ad tech startup in NY and CT, culminating in its successful sale from a private equity firm to a company specializing in advertising technology and software solutions for media planning and buying. She had previously worked with the Flashtalking executive team at x+1 Solutions, another ad tech startup in Norwalk, where she was awarded its annual Operational Excellence award.
Loomer has also worked at Omnicom Group, a global advertising holding company in NYC, where she held several different roles, including as a project manager of financial systems implementations.
