In her role as Vice President, Megan directs Kittleman’s day-to-day operations, providing executive oversight for finances, human resources strategy, and information technology and security. She is a member of the Executive Committee, which determines the overall direction and vision for the firm.
With a passion for serving at-risk children, youth and families, Megan began her career in Chicago in 1995, working primarily in the human services sector with organizations focused on foster care and affordable housing. Her continued interest in supporting individuals and groups who are most vulnerable, along with her experience with direct service, program development and fundraising, led her to pursue an advanced degree in social work.
In 2002, Megan joined Kittleman as Senior Associate, where she learned the art of executive search in all its facets. As a Senior Associate, she provided search operations support for over 100 clients spanning a variety of nonprofit sectors, including health and human services, cultural organizations, community and family foundations, and professional associations. She remained in that role until 2016 when she transitioned to the role of Vice President.
Megan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Psychology from Drake University and her Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago. She has served on the Associate Board for Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and as a children’s program volunteer for Sarah’s Inn. She is based in the Chicago office and resides in Chicago with her husband and four daughters. In her down time, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
